Crazy Horse Paris Reveals Viktoria Modesta, First Ever Bionic Celebrity Perfomer

The Crazy Horse, iconic and creative Parisian cabaret whose incomparable style and unique collaborations continue to astonish, has invited futuristic artist Viktoria Modesta, performer, artistic director, singer composer, queen of social media, to become the first ever ‘Bionic Showgirl’, from 3rd to 16th June 2019

Viktoria’s life is a true modern fairy tale: after spending several years fighting for her health in Latvia, before the fall of USSR, her love for fashion, avant-gardiste art and underground culture gives her the strength to overcome these obstacles. She left her home country for London at the age of 12, and shines as a model from early adolescence. At 20 years old, after several leg operations, she chooses to undergo amputation under the knee in order to improve movement and protect her health. This transformation liberates her creativity, enabling her to fulfil her passion by modelling her own image of an accomplished woman, far from certain clichés.

Today she will be the first ever bionic celebrity performer in the history of the famous Parisian cabaret. A new type of icon, outstanding and different, she’s chosen by Andrée Deissenberg, General Director of creation and development at Crazy Horse, and women of many challenges, to appear on the mythical stage and represent the future of women enhanced by technology.

29 extraordinary performances, to be booked from today, Viktoria will appear alone accompanied by the Crazy Girls, dancers of the Crazy Horse, within several shows created around a futurist universe.

The future is now and it’s truly Crazy!
